Over the years several focus groups were conducted to determine the needs of Summit County employers. The overwhelming response was always the same, employers responded that they struggled most finding workers with basic job holding or “soft skills”. This result prompted the development of the “Six Soft Skills for Success”.
These top six desired soft skills were identified and ranked by a representative mix of Summit County employers during 2012. In order of priority they are Integrity; Work Ethic; Communication; Adaptability; Dependability and Critical Thinking.
